UPDATE FROM TIERRA ENCANTADA ON CORONAVIRUS:
Tierra Encantada Charter School would like to let all of our student parents/guardians and staff know that safety is our top priority with the growing number of cases of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) across the nation.
TECS is taking the following steps to assure safety within our facility:
- All door handles are disinfected daily to avoid any spread.
- TECS will thoroughly disinfect the building during Spring Break.
- We are planning to continue thoroughly disinfecting upon return from Spring Break.
- We have disinfecting wipes in all classrooms for use.
- Computers are cleaned regularly.
- The IT Department and Administration have developed a plan in the event we have to hold remote classes.
- We continue to maintain guidance and contact with the NMPED and the NMDOH in order to ensure we are following state and federal recommendations and directives.
- Any updates will be posted on our web page along with text messages sent to all families.
Please know that Tierra Encantada Charter School, like the Governor’s Office and State, is taking an aggressive proactive approach to prevent and manage Coronavirus. The health and safety of our students, staff and community is our top priority. We ask that you remain calm, make smart decisions and bear with us as we continue to move further to protect our community.
