LICENSURE UPDATES

  • The PED Professional Licensure Bureau is making waivers available to help ensure educators are available to support remote instruction. Districts/charters may request remote instruction waivers for educators to teach outside the area in which they are licensed. These waivers will be in place through the end of the 2020-2021 school year.
  • Renewal applications should be completed before April 30 to avoid a backlog on June 30. HR directors should develop a plan for getting currently licensed staff renewed.
  • For individual district or charter school licensure questions, please contact your designated Licensure Liaison.
